Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Your privacy matters. This page explains what data CalcPenny does and doesn't collect, and how cookies and advertising work on this site.

The short version

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into them are never sent to us or stored on our servers. We do, however, use standard third-party services (analytics and advertising) that may set cookies, as described below.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect personal information you provide directly, except any details you choose to include when you email us. Calculator inputs stay on your device.

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may automatically receive standard technical data such as your approximate location (from IP address), browser type, device, referring page and pages visited. This is used in aggregate to understand and improve the site.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our partners use them to measure traffic and to display relevant advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some third-party features behave but will not stop the calculators from working.

Advertising & Google AdSense

We may display ads served by Google AdSense. To do this, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies:

For more information on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see Google's policy.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which calculators are most popular). Analytics data is aggregated and used only to improve the site. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we don't hold accounts or store your calculator inputs, the main controls available to you are your browser's cookie settings and the advertising opt-outs linked above. To make a request or ask a question, contact us.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
